No. 30, #violentfemmes s/t. Man, I hated this album when I first heard it. Not surprising because I was adrift in the waters between Judas Priest and Mercyful Fate at the time. Then in ’85 a friend of mine was singing one of the songs and as soon as I listened to the words, I grokked the whole thing… And it’s been one of my favorite albums since. A flipping masterpiece of real youthful romantic angst. Really great. Stand out tracks? Please Do Not Go, and Prove My Love (in addition to the obvious ones of Kiss Off, Blister In The Sun, and Add It up)! #vinyligclub #TenYearTop30
