18, 19, thirtysix, fortytwo

I know, what? You’re saying? Where have I been for three months? Resting. And why are orders 37-41 skipped over? Why? Because they were all CD’s!

So back to the vinyl action. Order 37 was the holder of the ugliest album cover ever award! Acrostichon’s Engraved In Black. I dunno. I may have played it If I did, it might have been good. If I didn’t, well, then I must be confusing it with something else. Regardless, it was really unattractive, and seemingly worth $40, so away it went!

The next LP out the door, order 42, was Smif-N-Wessun’s Dah Shinin’. This double LP was one of the ones that I had a hard time deciding to sell. But mainly because I remember really liking the song Wontime. But, well, I also have the 12” single of Wontime, so away this went for $30 to Germany,

And now, for throw-back-thursday… Order 18 was another double LP rap album, Camp Lo’s Uptown Saturday Night. contrary to what I say about most of the things I’ve sold, I actually used to listen to this record quite a bit. But, again, that was many years ago. So, for the measly sum of $20, off it sailed to Texas. Boy, I swear I took a picture of it. But I sure can’t find one now…

Number 19 was Pigface’s Gub. I am pretty sure I took a picture of it but… Again, I can’t find one. Classic industrialish album. Steve Albini produced. Gone.
