Again… More.

Yes, last night I listed about 10 more records, again feeling bored by the slow sales. One of them sold right off, but more about that later! First, the catch-up!

As you recall, last time I mentioned those back to back rap albums, the next two had more variety. Firstly, I sold Ween, Chocolate and Cheese. Now, again, I’ve never heard this one, but I liked the older Ween stuff, and this was one of the first releases from Grand Royal (well, one of the first from a band that didn’t include a Beastie Boy). But I listed it anyway. And it sold, and then the buyer backed out, so I still have it.

Secondly, a fellow out almost in my old stomping ground of Portland (he was in Beaverton) ordered this guy:

Witchcraft, by Obtained Enslavement. It was hard to part with only because its cover is so ridiculous that it’s awesome. That said, it may well be good because it is the best reviewed album I have ever seen on Metal Archives. Five reviews of it there and the lowest rating it got was 97%. Anyway, I don’t know what it sounds like and for 35$ I was fine with seeing it go.

So, about last night… In the quickest turnaround I have yet had, I listed an album, sold it, invoiced the buyer, and was paid, all within about 7 hours, between 11 pm and 6 am my time. Also, I sold it to someone with an FPO address. Seemingly, he works on the command ship of the seventh fleet, which seemed kinda neat. But that also got me to wondering… If he lives on a ship, where in hell is he going to keep this thing:

Yes, it’s Voodoo-U from Lords of Acid! I mainly had this for the cover… Back in the 90’s I would buy pretty much anything with art from Coop on it. I even had devil and devil girl prints hanging up in my dining room. But those days are gone and I don’t need this stuff around the house. I would rather trade it for 35$ and get it to someone who was more in a mind to appreciate it. One thing I have been thinking, and yes, maybe this does sound too uptight, I don’t really want to have any records whose covers would freak-out the kids, or the kids friends, or the kids friends parents. So I thought that this should go… Along with a few others that haven’t gone yet.
